Alberto Pascual Rodríguez Producer

Alberto Pascual has been telling stories with image and sound for more than 30 years. He started his career at Cadena Ser and in 1988, he started his path as a freelance. He worked on various projects: the launching of the municipal TV channel ONDA JEREZ in Jerez de la Frontera, television series, corporate videos, advertising, documentaries, events, etc.

Since 1999, he is associate and executive producer of the Grupo Master Production.

About The Code: "I was hooked to the project as soon as I heard of it. I feel that nowadays, humanity is confronted with gigantic changes which affect us all. It is necessary to warn the decision makers that their choices can cause dreadful consequences for a large mass of people and for our planet. Impunity cannot be the answer: it is time for us to take our responsibility and implement an international legal framework to define cohabitation limits. I got to know Carles Caparrós through his documentary "Los Olvidados de los Olvidados" and I was captured by his approach of the story. Carles is a hunter as Miguel Delibes defines in his literature: he wanders around the wasteland, falls in love with what he sees, absorbs it and creates a story from his experience to deliver it to us afterward."

Between 2002 and 2011, he was associate of the Grupo Master Production. Along with his friend Alberto Pascual, he made corporate videos and documentaries from concept to completion. Thanks to this experience, he now has a complete knowledge of the audiovisual industry.

Currently, he is a freelance director of photography and he works with various producers, using the latest digital film equipment to shoot video clips, ad spots, documentaries, etc.

About the film: "When Alberto Pascual asked me to collaborate on the project, I knew it was going to be something big. Not only for the chance to work on a film produced by Alberto Pascual – which is a guarantee to work in the best conditions - but also because the issue of the documentary transcends the documentary itself: Universal Jurisdiction is a tool to avoid impunity for crimes against humanity, as well as a defender of the victim's rights, reparation, and justice application."
